Japan's UFJ Tsubasa Securities has licensed Front Capital System's Front Arena product to support its credit derivatives activities.

Front Capital Systems, a subsidiary of SunGard, says UFJ Tsubasa will use the software to help structure complex credit derivative products for its customers.

Yuji Tanaka, sales manager, Japan/Korea at Front Capital Systems, adds: "Front Arena's architecture has been designed to enable financial institutions to take a broad-based approach to their credit trading activities. We believe that UFJ Tsubasa will achieve efficiency gains from managing its credit trading business on one platform."
