The UK's Yorkshire Building Society has gone live with Alaric Systems' EFT authorisation and switching system, Authentic.
Authentic, which is running on the Hewlett Packard operating system, is designed for issuers and acquirers of credit, debit, charge and private label cards.
The software replaced a legacy system that could only be modified with code changes. Alaric says its system can be modified through simple reconfiguration.
Philip Cottam, the Yorkshire's information systems manager, says: "Turnaround times on authorisations to Link are faster, as are processing updates from the Society's core system - particularly capitalisations and monthly salary updates."
