New Jersey-based Principia Partners, a provider of front-to-back office systems for capital markets, has hired Harvey Rand as executive vice president of sales and customer relationship management.
Rand was previously vice president of sales at Zoologic, a provider of learning software for the financial services sector. Prior to this he served as vice president of sales and marketing at Summit Systems and has also worked at Wall Street consultancy Fusion Systems Group.
He was also part of the original Sybase financial team that brought client-server relational database technology to Wall Street banks in the late 1980s.
In his new role, Rand will develop and execute global sales initiatives and will also be responsible to directing and shaping the vendor's new CRM group.
