BT Syntegra is reporting a hat-trick of contract wins in New York for its ITS p31 trading floor telephony switch, including orders at First Principle and ANZ Bank trading floors, as well as at international design agency Frog Design.
As part of First Principle's New York trading room expansion, institutional traders are using the compact ITS p31 switch, along with BT Syntegra's ITS pV405Hi turrets running the latest ITS Release 15 software.
Lugene Forte, COO, First Principle, comments: "The ITS p31 switch afforded us comparable, advanced voice trading functionality, which until now was only cost effective for larger organisations."
ANZ Bank has replaced a V-band trading system on its New York trading floor with the p31 telephony switch. The firm's 10 equity traders are also using ITS pV405Hi turrets and pVs81i speakers.
The telephony package is also being implemented for use by some 25 employees of Frog Design in the company's New York office.
Launched by BT Syntegra to the US market in June 2003 and in the UK in March 2003, the compact switch is designed for smaller firms and satellite offices. The vendor claims the ITS p31 is now used by a total of 93 customers across 23 countries globally.
