GL Trade has named Nicholas Lévy as CEO and Teifion Thomas as CTO of GL Settle, the back office subsidiary formed from the acquisition of Misys Securities Trading Systems last November.
Lévy, who joined GL Trade in 1998 as an EVP from the custody department of Group Caisse des Dépots, has been charged with managing and developing new business for the 50-person back office business line.
Teifion Thomas recently joined GL Settle as CTO. A former managing director of capital markets consultancy Unify Solutions, Thomas was the chief designer and architect of Synopsis' Rims product. This latter was bought out by MSTS and is now marketed by GL Settle as part of a suite of back office and ASP-based software offerings.
