Edgard Barona, VP and division head, Corp Banca, comments: "We evaluated several funds transfer systems and found that the eGifts offering was the most complete, meeting or exceeding our requirements. The company's strong knowledge and ability to interface to our banking system was also a major consideration."

EGifts is a browser-based system designed to automate both payment and telecommunications processing. Users connect to the eGifts server via the Internet.

The product runs on either the IBM Pseries Server under the AIX Operating System or the Intel Pentium based Windows 2000/2003 Server family. An embedded Oracle database is used on either of the hardware platforms.
