EasyXchange is a multi-asset class trading platform hosted at the vendor's UK data centres. The package includes order routing, risk management and front-end screen trading products.

Peter Hodgson, CEO of EasyScreen, says: "This 'virtual exchange hub' provides simple access to managed global connectivity to a variety of exchanges, clearers and brokers with centralised risk management."

Fortis Clearing acts as clearer for London-based B&C Derivatives, which currently uses EasyScreen's Data centre service to provide brokers with access to Borsa Italiana's electronic derivative exchange (IDEM).

B&C says the new deal will enable it to offer its broking customers EasyScreen's Eat trading screens coupled with clearing and settlement services from Fortis Clearing.

Martin Broad, MD, Fortis Clearing London, says: "The flexibility and efficiency of Easyscreen's connectivity solutions fully complement Fortis Clearing’s strong international capability in the areas of derivative and securities clearing and settlement."
