London-based B&C Derivatives is using EasyScreen's Data Centre service to provide customers with direct trading access to Borsa Italiana's electronic derivative exchange (IDEM).
Customers can use the service to trade via B&C without having IDEM membership.
The EasyScreen Data Centre houses a full package of order routing, risk management and front-end screen trading products.
As part of the agreement, B&C have been provided with an Italian language version of Easy Active Trade (Eat) screen to distribute to customers. The Eat screen also provides trading access other markets, such as Euronext-liffe, CME and the Cbot.
Giorgio Francini, Italian desk manager, B&C, comments: "With this deal we can migrate our existing clients, and recruit new clients, to an integrated multi asset class platform."
Maria de Figueiredo, head of European sales, EasyScreen, adds: "This is effectively a London hub for IDEM. This facility is particularly exciting as it opens up a whole new prospective client base for EasyScreen."
