French banking group Natexis Banques Populaires is deploying technology from Toronto-based Surecomp to support its trade finance operations in Europe.
The bank will be implementing version 6.2 of Surecomp's Web-based trade finance software Imex on a Unix platform in a bid to modernise its trade finance services in Europe. The bank will also install the vendor's Java-based front end product, NetImex.
Didier Trupin, head of information systems and operational processes, Natexis Banques Populaires, says: "We are confident that Surecomp's solution will allow us to achieve our aims."
Natexis Banques Populaires currently uses the Imex trade finance system at its branches in Asia.
