Bank of Israel has implemented technology from SunGard Business Integration to manage its migration to FIN services on the SwiftNet IP network.
The bank deployed SunGard's Mint SwiftNet FIN platform to replace its legacy Swift interface environment and manage the move to the new IP-based bank-to-bank network.
Abraham Jacoby, chief information officer, Bank of Israel says: "We chose the Mint SwiftNet solution because it provides a fully available and consolidated approach to all existing and future SwiftNet Application Services as part of an integrated platform."
SunGard says its Mint platform will help the bank improve its overall STP rates by improving process automation and Mint will eventually replace the bank's existing mainframe-based system with a more consolidated infrastructure.
