DCB Bank outsources ATMs to Euronet

India's Development Credit Bank (DCB) has signed a multi-year outsourcing contract with Euronet Worldwide for the management of its national network of cash machines.

Initally, Euronet will manage DCB's exsting 64 ATMs. Euronet will also provide the bank with ATM services such as mobile top-ups and bill payments, and will also link the bank's machines to the national Cashnet network.

Under the agreement, Euronet will deploy a further 36 units by 31 March 2004, bringing DCB's total number of ATMs to 100. The new machines will be provided under Euronet's bank-branded ATM deployment programme.

Sandeep Mookerjee, head, personal finance services, DCB, says: "The strategic alliance with Euronet for outsourcing ATMs and to link them to Cashnet will provide a nationwide network of services to our discerning customers."
