GL Trade says ten clients are currently using its front and middle office systems to connect to the Eurex US electronic exchange, which was launched on 8 February 2004, initially trading in US interest rate products.

The vendor has also developed a trading host, the GL Clearvision gateway, which allows clearing members to automatically match and clear executed orders with the trade legs from the clearing houses.

GL Trade's Gateway system also allows traders to send orders and receive market data on Eurex US.

Gerard Varjacques, CEO of GL Trade Americas, says Eurex US promises to be a major source of liquidity: "Developing market access to Eurex US is consistent with GL Trade's global strategy of providing universal access to market liquidity."
