New York-based Lava Trading is to add foreign exchange dealing to its securities trading platform.
The move to the new product suite, LavaFX, will be led by David Ogg, and vice president Mark Smith. The company has recruited Bob Savage, former director of business development in the emerging business team at Microsoft, as global director of FX sales.
The vendor has yet to give a release date for the new product.
