African banking group Ecobank is installing Nomad Software's card payment processing software Cortex running on the Hewlett Packard platform at its head office in Togo.

Ecobank has branches in 12 countries across West and Central Africa.

The payments processing system will be used to support the bank's customer base across seven African countries – Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, Mali, Senegal and Togo.

For the first time, we will be able to manage the end-to-end processes involved in delivering card payment solutions to our customers across West Africa."
