The new service, which will be dual branded, will be available on Freeserve's money channel.

Commenting on the deal, Dominic Barton, Bradford & Bingley's director of business development, says: "While many ISP's focus on Internet business only, we were impressed with Freeserve's understanding of the financial services market and the importance to them of delivering an integrated multi-channel proposition for their customers under one brand."

As with The MarketPlace's own Web site, Freeserve users will have access to a range of credit cards, mortgages, investments, pensions and insurance.

Jon Gisby, Freeserve's managing director, portals, says: "The MarketPlace provide integrated telephone and branch solutions as well as an online capability, offering greater choice to our customers - 4.7 million of whom visit our site every month."
