San Francisco-based trading technology firm Iris Financial Engineering has appointed Aviv Handler as vice president of product strategy and Naoko Fader and Ron Raman as global business development managers.
The appointments follow an $11m investment in the firm from Apax Partners in the last quarter.
Handler joins Iris from KW International, where he set product strategy and supporting processes, and built the business analysis and documentation teams. He also spent several years at SunGard Trading and Risk Systems as a product manager for Panorama.
In his new role, Handler will be based in London and will drive the development of Iris Financial's J2EE-based Component Services Architecture (CSA) platform.
Fader was previously head of sales at Xenomorph and has over 10 years' sales and business experience in the fixed income market, including a directorship at Lehman Brothers and senior management position at Tokyo-Mitsubishi International. Fader will also be based at Iris Financial's London office and will be responsible for new business development in the UK.
Raman was most recently at Caminus Corporation. As director of business development at Iris Financial, Raman will be based in New York and responsible for expanding the vendor's presence in the US financial markets.
