Kazakhstan's Kazkommerzbank has installed Way4CommerSafe, a 3-D Secure online authentication system developed by Brussels' OpenWay Group and Texas-based iBiZ Software.
Kazkommertsbank is already using the software to deliver Verified by Visa acquiring services and says MasterCard SecureCode authentication will follow.
The bank intends to launch a Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode issuing service and enroll its own cardholders in the programme.
Yaron Charka, CEO, iBIZ Software, says the installation demonstrates how Way4CommerSafe integrates into existing back office systems and provides the bank with the ability to offer the latest in online shopping security.
