Reuters is teaming up with Swedish dealing systems vendor Orc Software to launch a hosted trading service in Canada.
The trading platform will be developed and managed by Reuters, while Orc Software will provide connectivity to the Montreal Exchange as well as other futures exchanges in Canada.
Nils Nilsson, chief executive officer, Orc Software, says: "We see great opportunities together with Reuters to offer the Canadian market a flexible and broker neutral trading application.
"With this solution the customers will have performance and functionality on a stable network and at a low cost of ownership."
