London-based DST International (DSTi) has appointed Gary Linieres as senior sales executive, and Nigel Armstrong and Ian Jones as account executives as part of a restructuring of its European sales department.
Linieres joins DSTi from Reuters where he was sales director. Prior to this he was regional manager, Southern Europe, for SunGard EPI and EMEA sales manager, financial applications, Oracle. In his new role, Linieres will head up DSTi's European sales effort.
Armstrong was previously at Financial Models Company where he sold front, middle and back office software to parts of the UK market and was responsible for sales in France, Germany, Italy and Scandinavia.
Jones joins DSTi as account executive for UK and Ireland. He was previously at Misys Asset Management Systems where he was responsibile for new business sales of front and back office software in the UK and offshore.
Jim Heasman has returned to DSTi as senior sales executive after a break of four years.
As part of the restructuring, Steve Trott has been promoted to director, UK asset management sales. He has been at DSTi for over eight years and was most recently responsible for client relationship management at the vendor's international services division.
The sales group will continue to report to Kim Holloway, global sales director.
