Massachusetts-based Charles River Development has interfaced its investment management system (IMS) to Web-based multi-dealer bond trading platform, MarketAxess.
In addition, MarketAxess' post-trade messaging applications are fully integrated into Charles River's fixed income order management system (OMS).
The companies also plan to make allocation messages available in the next version of Charles River IMS.
Richard McVey, CEO, MarketAxess, says the partnership with Charles River responds to client demand for STP improvement to increase trading speed and efficiency.
"In addition to post-trade connectivity, MarketAxess and Charles River are committed to jointly developing interfaces for market data (bond ticker) and transaction information, providing true pre-trade connectivity," adds McVey.
