Dow Jones Newswires has teamed up with content integration firm IX Partners to develop its Advanced Development Tool Kit which allows customers to integrate its content into applications.
Larry Joyce, director of new product development at Dow Jones Newswires, Americas, says the tool kit "enables our customers to integrate our content quickly and efficiently into critical workflow applications, such as portfolio and customer relationship management systems and Web portals".
The product consists of a feed handler, database and search and retrieval functions and can be used for multiple additional information feeds. Clients will also be able to integrate their own or other sources of information with Dow Jones' data.
