Bank of Ireland, Credit Agricole Indosuez Chevreux, Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Nomura International have joined over 45 other firms already participating in the SwiftNet FIX early adopter programme.
Firms participating in the programme benefit fom pricing incentives and also provide input into the future development of SwiftNet FIX. The hub service, which makes use of technology from Financial Fusion, aims to eliminate the need for firms to install, certify and maintain multiple network and application conncetions when exchanging FIX messages with trading partners.
Bob Craddock, director, Bank of Ireland Securities Services says: "This provides us with a single secure messaging service across the entire securities lifecycle, from pre-trade to settlement."
In addition to the new firms signing up for the service, Swift announced that BNP Paribas Equities France and Swissquote have successfuly completed the SwiftNet FIX New User Certification Programme. Additionally, Banesto Bolsa is in the process of completing New User Certification while Enskilda Securities and UBS Investment Bank are in the final stages of implementation.
