The Global Insight Group, a UK-based provider of technical consultancy services for financial firms, has appointed Aidan Tyndall as director of EMV support services.
Tyndall joins Global Insight from NatWest Bank where he worked for over 36 years in IT development and business support areas. He has extensive technical, business and strategic experience in the payment systems sector, especially with MasterCard, Maestro, Switch and Visa products.
He was also the NatWest/UK representative on various Apacs, Europay/MasterCard and Visa technical and operational advisory committees both at a domestic and international level.
At Global Insight, Tyndall joins a team of senior executives who manage project teams that support customers migrating to the EMV standard.
