Misys has appointed Ian Dyson, group finance director of The Rank Group, as a non-executive director.
Dyson has been group finance director of Rank since mid 1999, where he has played a lead role in the rationalisation and restructuring of the group, with responsibility for tax, treasury, finance, investor relations, business development and IT.
Prior to this Dyson was group financial controller of Hilton Plc. He joined Hilton from Granada/Forte plc where he was finance director for Meridien. His earlier career was spent primarily with Arthur Andersen.
He will join Misys' audit committee, currently chaired by Tony Alexander.
