Career History
Mehmet Sezgin is a global digital banking and payments expert. After 30 years at executive roles with several banks, he started myGini, Inc. a San Francisco based fintech helping banks and retailers to create a better shopping experience for their customers. At BBVA where he was the director of global payments, he managed 80 million cards and 1.5 million merchants in 13 countries. At Garanti Bank, as the Founder and the CEO of its Payment System Company, he created the bonus card program, the largest merchant coalition and loyalty platform of the country with 11 banks and one million retailers reaching 15 million cardholders. He served at MasterCard European Board for 14 years. He is also the author of Book of Bonus, a book about banking, cards and management.
