Through licensed financial services trading firm Webull Securities (UK) Ltd., residents of the UK can now trade US-listed equities and fractional shares at low commissions through the award-winning Webull app. Users can also access news, industry data, and educational materials that arm them with the tools needed to make informed investment decisions.

Anthony Denier, CEO of Webull US, stated, “Following successful launches in Singapore, Australia, South Africa, Japan and Hong Kong, we are excited to expand operations to the UK.  While each country has very different requirements and expectations, we believe there is great potential in the UK and look forward to rapidly expanding our product range to cater to our customers in the region. We are confident that Webull’s powerful trading tools and mobile-first format will prove attractive in the UK and draw a new set of investors to the platform.”

Webull UK secured its authorisation from the FCA in October 2022. It has spent the last six months hiring a team with local experience to help the platform exceed UK expectations. While its offering will initially be limited to US-listed securities, Webull UK expects to expand this rapidly, opening new global investment opportunities for retail investors.

Nick Saunders, CEO of Webull UK, said, “The investment market has changed in the last 10 years, and the British public is now actively seeking low-cost investment opportunities domestically and globally. Webull’s strength is in our international network and innovative mindset. We are constantly looking for the right solution for our customers by building on our existing, sustainable foundations. We strive to provide users with a product and the tools needed to help them make more informed investment decisions.”

The Webull trading platform launched in the US in 2018 through its SEC-registered broker-dealer and FINRA member subsidiary. Webull has received notable recognition in the financial industry including it winning the "Best Brokerage App" at Benzinga's 2022 Global Fintech Awards, highlighting its commitment to superior mobile trading. It was also honoured as the "Best Options Trading Platform" at the Finder Stock Trading Platform Awards and recognised as the “Best in Class” for the investor community at the Stockbrokers Annual Review 2023. These accolades showcase the company’s dedication to providing innovative and exceptional services to all of its users.

The Webull trading platform can be downloaded through the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
