Quantifi, a leading provider of analytics and risk management solutions to the global credit markets, today announced the opening of its new London office and the appointment of John Peck as head of European sales.
Reporting directly to Rohan Douglas, founder and CEO of Quantifi, John will focus on building upon Quantifi's already established London presence. Previous to Quantifi, John worked as a global sales director at Informa Global Markets, a provider of real-time financial information.
"We are very excited about expanding our footprint into London. Over the last couple of years, in Europe, we have seen an uptick in the types of sophisticated instruments that banks, hedge funds and asset managers are leveraging. We want to be here to help meet that need," said Douglas.
"Opening the London office brings us closer to our customers and allows us to provide local support in local time zones. In addition, John brings exceptional client and sales skills to our European effort. We are pleased to welcome him to our company."
The office will focus on product development and deployment, and local access and support.
"Fifty percent of our market is in London and, in fact, we're already serving a significant number of London clients. By having a physical presence here we are able to provide the best credit derivatives models, pricing tools and risk analysis to meet the needs of this marketplace," Peck said.
