Northern Rock extends Experian credit referencing contract
Experian, the global information solutions company, has signed a new five year deal with leading mortgage lender, Northern Rock, to supply consumer credit reference information to support its mortgage and personal lending activity.

The new agreement will see Experian delivering its consumer credit reference information for new mortgage applications and ongoing customer management through its managed Link SM solution. This will assist Northern Rock to make informed, accurate and consistent lending decisions in order to manage risk.
Richard Barclay, Director of Credit at Northern Rock, said: "It is crucial that we have access to the most up-to-date information available in order to make the right lending decisions for both new and existing customers. The consumer credit reference information we receive from Experian meets this need and provides us with the ability to ensure accurate decisions are made."
Jill Gratton-Fisher, Sales Director in Experian's Consumer Business, said: "We have a long-standing relationship with Northern Rock going back many years and are delighted that they have chosen to extend their relationship with Experian for a further five years."
