Retail investors today have unprecedented access to a wide range of asset classes, but with so many options and overwhelming amounts of information, it's easy to feel confused and unsure where to turn. We built Beurzbyte out of frustration with existing solutions that are expensive, outdated, and unnecessarily complex, or free online resources that spread misinformation and have no investment industry experience. We saw a need for a platform that tailored content to personal interests and provided both investment intelligence and financial education. Our goal is to revolutionise the way retail investors make well-informed, confident, and smarter investment decisions.
Our story began in the picturesque city of Bruges in Belgium where we spent our childhood. That’s why we, Pedram Parhizkari and Niels Soete, named the company Beurzbyte, after ‘Ter Beurze’, the world’s first exchange, with a digital spin to it.

Beurzbyte, a London-based Fintech, aims to solve the problem of financial education and access to affordable, reliable, and simple investment tools for retail investors. In the era of universal ownership, where access to investments is expanding rapidly and the average investor is getting younger, it's important to provide not just access, but also education, discovery, research, and intelligence. Many retail investors lack practical financial education, struggle to discover and research investment opportunities, and are overwhelmed by fake news and misinformation, leading to a lack of conviction in their investment decisions. We want to help retail investors understand their investments and make well-informed decisions.

Beurzbyte is a mobile app that helps retail investors learn the ins-and-outs of investing and discover investment opportunities through video content. Our platform, "Beurzbyte Learn" and "Beurzbyte Discover", empowers users with reliable and actionable information through creative storytelling. We believe that investing is about more than just the well-known companies and digital assets (crypto) and want retail investors to discover opportunities based on their interests. Video content is a highly effective and engaging way to learn, and the recent pandemic has only increased video consumption. By providing financial literacy and connecting users with tailored investment opportunities, Beurzbyte aims to support and improve wealth creation globally.
What is the company’s motto?
The company’s motto is “discover the investor in you”. They want to ensure that not only do investors understand how to value a specific stock, but they also understand how they can develop as investor and be at one with their own investment style and philosophy. This question remains unanswered for many. “Are you a dividend guy with risk-averse personality or more of a growth gall shooting for the moon?” At the core of the idea, they truly want the consumer to discover which type of investor they are, and when they know, Beurzbyte will support them with the best investment opportunities that aligns with their investing personality as all content is tailored specifically to the users preferences.
Who’s investing in Beurzbyte?
We raised £2.2 million in pre-seed funding from angel investors. The funding will be used to develop the Beurzbyte platform and to create in-house content across financial literacy and investment intelligence.
