ABN Amro merges PFM app Grip into mobile banking app

Source: ABN Amro

ABN AMRO believes it is important that clients get the best possible insight into their personal financial situation and, if necessary, can take action on it themselves.

To this end, the bank provides various kinds of support, including Grip, our personal finance app. Starting later this year ABN AMRO will be moving key functions from Grip into the ABN AMRO app, allowing over three million clients who do mobile banking with ABN AMRO to benefit from the added value of these features.

The first feature ABN AMRO is moving from Grip to the ABN AMRO app is the ability to view upcoming expenses for the next few months. Next is the single overview feature for fixed expenses and subscriptions, which includes the ability to easily cancel subscriptions.

The bank’s wish to make Grip's features accessible to ABN AMRO app users as soon as possible means that Grip will cease to be a separate app on 16 December. Grip users will be personally notified from Wednesday 19 October onwards.
