Customers will use GoldenGate software in conjunction with BASE24-es for disaster recovery, allowing them to instantly fail over to a replicated site that allows business operations to continue without interruption in the event of an outage or disaster. ACI will market the GoldenGate software as their contingency solution for BASE24-es.

BASE24-es leverages open systems environments together with a unique "enterprise services" architecture to provide a flexible payment solution to acquire, authenticate, route, switch, and authorize financial transactions across multiple channels. GoldenGate's flexibility, unparalleled speed, volume and support for diverse database and platform environments make it the perfect complement to BASE24-es. The combined solution is expected to be available in Q4 2004.

News of the alliance agreement comes at the same time GoldenGate announced the extension of its channel partnership with Insession Technologies and a new solution, D24, that supports ACI's BASE24 Release 6.0 on the HP NonStop platform. The solution was jointly developed by GoldenGate, ACI and Insession Technologies. D24 offers dual site synchronization for high availability and load balancing on the HP NonStop platform. D24 will be demonstrated during the EMEA BASE24 User Group Conference, May 18-21 in Barcelona, Spain.
