Saxo Bank's private retail customers around the world will automatically receive real-time, general business news focusing on European and global economics, company disclosure, central-bank actions, commodities and political news from Dow Jones Newswires.

Also included are DJ Forex, a Russian-language, foreign-exchange news service produced by Dow Jones Newswires and Prime-Tass; foreign-exchange-related news and commentary in Chinese from the Dow Jones Chinese Financial Wire; and in-depth news and commentary of the global treasury and equities markets. These services are also available to the bank's institutional customers and their partners as optional services.

"Customers have different needs when it comes to news and analysis," said Kim Fournais, co-chief executive officer at Saxo Bank. "Some clients are interested in short-term trading and therefore need running commentary on foreign exchange, whereas others are more into long-term strategic investments and thus look for comprehensive in-depth reports on a particular market or business."

Mr. Fournais added: "We have been looking for a provider that is as global in reach as we are. With the selection of Dow Jones Newswires, we feel confident that we have found the right provider. What they offer matches well the breadth and depth of our customers' needs. The fact that they match our customers and partners in more than 115 countries is mandatory for Saxo Bank, as we strive to provide our customers with the best of the best."

Michael Bergmeijer, vice president, international sales and marketing, Dow Jones Newswires, said: "We are delighted to complement Saxo Bank's online-trading platform with a selection of our general and specialised business-news services. With the largest network of real-time business and financial journalists in the world, we believe we are uniquely positioned to provide Saxo Bank's customers with a valuable trading resource."
