ABN Amro adds Freelancer Wallet app to Payday in pilot with Younited

ABN AMRO's freelancer payout solution Payday is launching a new pilot in collaboration with Younited, the popular platform for self-employed professionals: the Payday Freelancer Wallet app.

The freelance market continues to flourish and grow. In 2020, Payday by ABN AMRO first started offering a direct payment proposition for self-employed professionals, enabling them be paid directly after getting their hours approved. Since then, the Payday user base has grown to over 10,000 freelancers.

To give freelancers even more control over their income, Payday's latest pilot introduces a new feature: the Payday Freelancer Wallet. Using the Payday app, connected freelancers can decide for themselves when they want to get their invoices paid out. The money is available in the Wallet from the moment the worked hours have been approved. Pressing a button is all it takes for Payday to transfer the money directly to their bank account.

In addition to offering immediate on-demand access to earned income, the Payday Freelancer Wallet provides a clear overview of past earnings. Waiting 30 days for payment is a thing of the past for freelancers working via Unique Powered by Younited®, the first platform for self-employed professionals to offer this super-fast payment method.

The pilot will provide a lot of value to these entrepreneurs, says Jolijn ten Have, Operations Manager of Younited®.”With the Payday by ABN AMRO Freelancer Wallet, Younited is providing our self-employed users the independence and flexibility to decide at any moment to get their invoice paid earlier. No more waiting until the end of the month.”
