"We are very proud to launch our app today. At a time when women still earn 18% less per hour than men while three quarters of women are not yet investing their money, it is more important than ever to make women more financially independent and facilitate their access to the financial market. As a market leader in women's investment, it's our clear mission to help close this gap," said Karolina Decker, Co-Founder and CEO of finmarie.

"Far too few women are taking an active role in their own wealth management, running the risk of slipping into poverty come retirement age. We want to raise awareness, make investing more accessible and transparent, and especially help women move from theory to action. Today we are taking the next step in our mission with the app launch," emphasized Rica Klitzke, Co-Founder and CMO of finmarie.

With the finmarie app, users can build up their financial knowledge step by step with the help of various modules with short text and video formats. Depending on the user's level of knowledge, the focus is either initially on the basics of investing, for example via ETFs, or later on, advanced topics such as real estate investments, cryptocurrencies or startup investment opportunities for the more experienced investors.

However, it doesn't stop at financial education alone. After answering a few questions, including about their risk profile, users also receive a specific portfolio recommendation tailored to their personal goals. A curated selection of different investment tools makes it easy to implement the portfolio recommendation in the next step and to start investing directly.

In addition to exchanging with other women within the community, users also have the opportunity to take an exclusive look inside the portfolios of the finmarie founders and other women who are already successfully investing. Optionally, personal financial coaching with one of the finmarie financial experts can be booked directly via the app.

"We are very grateful to have been able to develop our app together with more than 100 women from our community, making sure that we’re building something that’s meaningful to them. In the coming weeks and months, more exciting features will follow," said Leitha Matz, Co-Founder and CPO at finmarie, who has been responsible for the development of the app together with her team and developed the first version within just a few months.

The market certainly offers enough potential, especially with regard to female customers. According to industry estimates, 75% of women still do not invest their assets today. With the decline of state pensions and the increasing need for private pension and investment, the potential in Europe alone is in the billions.

The finmarie app is now available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
