This new response service complements the stronger Internet banking authentication recently introduced by FundsXpress.

"We are excited to offer an anti-phishing take down service to further enhance our suite of security solutions," says Greg Constantine, FundsXpress executive vice president of client operations. "When phishing does occur, the exposure to direct and reputational loss is reduced when the phishing infrastructure is taken down more quickly. SecureWorks offers an effective service to detect and disable phishing scams quickly before damage is widespread. We believe our clients will embrace the idea of a "stand-by resource" ready to help them should the need arise."

"Phishers and hackers are using more sophisticated techniques such as botnets and dynamic Domain Name Servers (DNS) to host phishing sites raising the difficulty for financial institutions to take down the scam themselves," states Jon Ramsey, CTO of SecureWorks. "We work with the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) and the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST) worldwide and can orchestrate a take down very quickly - even when it involves a large number of "pirated" servers and complex masking of attack origin. We are very pleased that FundsXpress is making this service available to its large base of financial institutions."
