Patsystems embeds Identify Software's AppSight with TradeMark platform

Identify Software, the leader in application support software today announced that its AppSight application support system will be embedded into Patsystems' TradeMark electronic trading system to ensure the high service quality levels essential for on-line financial transactions.

Patsystems supplies high-performance trading technology to the derivatives community. Its trading application is deployed by more than 40 futures and options brokers worldwide, including some of the largest and best-known financial institutions, such as Fortis and Royal Bank of Scotland, who offer electronic trading to end users such as banks, funds and private individuals. Over 7,000 customers transact nearly 650,000 contracts a day through Patsystems technology.

Identify's AppSight is an application support solution designed to accelerate and optimise the process for resolving tough problems in software applications, especially when they are running live in production.

William Todd, CTO, Patsystems comments, "Our reputation is founded on speed, reliability, and customer service. Our use of AppSight reflects the latest thinking in software support, and ensures that we will deliver highest possible Quality of Service to our customers."

AppSight drives high quality of service levels by minimising both the service impact of an application problem and the chance of the problem reoccurring. When a problem occurs, AppSight's patented Black Box software technology captures and records full problem data from the live application - the user experience, performance, configuration and even code-level information - in one synchronised timeline.

With AppSight, Patsystems support professionals will be able to replay, rather than recreate any reported problems eliminating up to 80% of the cycle time usually consumed by root cause analysis.

Todd concludes, "We reviewed other vendors but our research concluded that no other application support vendor offers the depth and range of capability offered by Identify's Black Box."
