Enfuce, Nordic payment service provider with over 13 million end-users on its platform, has achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Financial Services Competency.

This designation recognises Enfuce for providing deep expertise in the AWS platform to help financial institutions and fintechs accelerate innovation, improve customer experience and manage critical issues pertaining to the industry, such as core system renewals, data management and navigating compliance requirements.

“Since we founded Enfuce, AWS has been enabling and driving our growth. Achieving this competency supports our vision to become the leading payment service provider globally, allowing us to expand our foothold in new continents through AWS networks”, says Monika Liikamaa, CEO & Co-founder at Enfuce.

With this designation, AWS differentiates Enfuce as a member of the AWS Partner Network (APN) that has demonstrated relevant technical proficiency and proven customer success, delivering financial services seamlessly on AWS. To receive the designation, APN Partners must possess deep AWS expertise and undergo an assessment of the security, performance, and reliability of their solutions.

“We have been through numerous audits and certifications over the years. With this competency from AWS, we once again prove that our technology is solid inside out - always available and compliant. Since the beginning of Enfuce, we have never had any downtime affecting our service as a whole, thanks to our high availability architecture”, says Niklas Apellund, CTO and Co-founder at Enfuce.

AWS compliance support enabled Enfuce to become the first payment processor in the world to be PCI-DSS certified and approved by the financial authorities while operating in the public cloud.

I very much appreciate the AWS solution architects wanting to truly understand in detail how we build things and provide feedback”, Apellund continues.

Thanks to the AWS Cloud, Enfuce managed to shorten the delivery times for their payment solutions by over 50 percent, and has maintained 99.99% uptime.

“This year will be pivotal for our growth as a part of the AWS ecosystem - we will strengthen our joint go-to-market activities and get some of our solutions listed in the AWS marketplace where we already launched My Carbon Action in September”, Liikamaa continues.
