Enfuce launches carbon footprint calculator My Carbon Action in AWS Marketplace

“We have seen the drastic impacts that the climate crisis has had already, and now it is time to act,” said Monika Liikamaa, CEO and Co-Founder at Enfuce. “Having My Carbon Action available in AWS Marketplace means it is now even easier for banks, financial institutions and merchants to help unite their customers in the fight against climate change.”
Launched by Enfuce in 2019, My Carbon Action is a digital tool that allows banks, financial institutions and merchants to instantly calculate the carbon footprint of individual transactions customers make. It’s a turnkey solution based on a country-specific scientific data model and user input on individual lifestyle choices — such as diet, housing and mode of transportation — powered by over 100 personalised tips on how to reduce the carbon footprint and live a more sustainable life.
Now that My Carbon Action is available in AWS Marketplace, AWS customers can easily access and integrate into existing apps and payment services, which happens in Enfuce’s MyEdge platform. By using My Carbon Action API, the users get CO2 emission calculations for the transactions taking place in their apps and payment services. The CO2 calculations are provided with country-specific datasets selected during the onboarding process.
By integrating My Carbon Action, banks, financial institutions and merchants can help customers understand the carbon footprint of their choices and easily make more sustainable choices, such as cycling instead of going by car and using more environmentally-friendly products and services.
