HKEX opens Orion Central Gateway
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is pleased to announce today’s (Monday) launch of Orion Central Gateway – Securities Market (OCG-C), a new market access platform for the Hong Kong securities market.

The new central gateway is fully integrated with HKEX’s securities trading system, the Orion Trading Platform - Securities Market (OTP-C), offering improved performance and reduced latency, compared with the vendor-supplied platform that it replaces.
OCG-C is a centralised access point that enables Exchange Participants to connect their order management systems with HKEX's securities trading platform. The introduction of OCG-C is part of HKEX’s ongoing commitment to investing in the innovation, modernisation and enhancement of its market infrastructure, delivering resiliency and ensuring its competitiveness.
