TietoEVRY and DNB have entered into a strategic agreement which will give DNB innovative, future-oriented solutions and access to high-tech expertise that meets the needs of a modern and digital bank.
The agreement represents a contract framework with a value of around EUR 200 million over three years, and serves to strengthen TietoEVRY's position as a leading Nordic supplier of banking technology.
DNB seeks to make targeted use of technology to offer the best customer experience and ensure that the bank has a sound financial foundation. Digital solutions are an important tool for ensuring that the bank's employees are able to work proactively and professionally.
The agreement with TietoEVRY will ensure DNB has access to high-quality digital services with high standards of availability. Through a Norwegian delivery model, TietoEVRY will provide infrastructure and operations for DNB's core bank and payment solutions. The agreement also includes a range of digital banking solutions.

About the agreement
As a result of the agreement TietoEVRY will continue to offer one of the Nordic region’s largest centres of expertise for mainframe services in the form of modern technology and extensive capacity. The agreement with DNB includes establishing a dedicated team to ensure the availability of capacity and the necessary expertise in DNB’s applications.
TietoEVRY’s card and payment solutions are delivered as components based on industry standards resulting from the company’s close collaboration with the Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN). The use of modern architecture and standards ensures that TietoEVRY’s solutions are flexible, cost-effective and designed to meet functional and regulatory requirements. TietoEVRY will also ensure high-quality integration with DNB's other delivery environments and suppliers.
