American Eagle has been an FIS (formerly Certegy) Internet banking client since 2004.

The East Hartford, CT-based institution has $857 million in assets, 16 branches in central Connecticut, and more than 97,000 members. With more than 50 credit union employees involved in the year-long search, the decision in favor of MISER was unanimous.

"With MISER, we saw a mature solution on a stable platform," said John Conant, Senior Vice President & CFO for the Credit Union. "We like the tightly integrated branch automation and member relationship management functionality, as it will deliver real-time information to our branches and call centers and allow us to deliver better, more personalized service. Also, the business intelligence solution will enhance our reporting capabilities, enabling us to provide our managers with usable information in a timely manner."

American Eagle President & CEO William Dokas stated, "We conducted an extensive review of our core technology options, and our 56-member evaluation team was in unanimous agreement that the MISER platform offered us the best technology to meet our long-term strategic needs."

MISER is an open, integrated core processing solution designed to speed processing, manage workflow, and automate banking functions. This highly scalable and flexible solution delivers mission-critical, high-volume processing with demonstrated reliability and efficiency. MISER's Branch Automation has built-in workflows that increase employee productivity and ensure consistent service quality by automating common functions such as opening accounts and processing payments. MISER MRM incorporates contact and referral management capabilities that enable tellers, contact center agents, and back office personnel to efficiently share servicing and selling tasks. MISER Business Intelligence helps institutions understand their members and product trends, analyze channel use and employee productivity, and improve customer profiling and target marketing.

"American Eagle's management opened their evaluation process to a broad cross-section of their leaders and employees. We're pleased that MISER was the unanimous choice of the group," said Santo Cannone, senior vice president for FIS' Integrated Financial Solutions division. "In today's challenging environment, credit unions must deliver targeted products and services to the right members at the ideal time through the most appropriate channel. After a thorough evaluation, the American Eagle team saw that FIS' comprehensive capabilities, partnered with MISER's rich feature set, will help them achieve that goal."
