The introduction of robots will free employees from routine work, significantly increasing the speed of the cash processing cycle and reducing the cost price by two times.

In addition to speeding up the process, the integration of the robot's software with the automated banking system will make it possible to minimize the likelihood of errors and operational risks.

Vadim Kulik, Deputy President and Chairman of the VTB Management Board, said:

"As part of the strategic development and implementation of digital transformation, VTB is constantly working to make services for customers faster, more convenient and more secure, and business processes more efficient. The introduction of a robot for counting cash is another step towards automating processes and improving the quality of VTB services.”

Natalia Dirks, a member of the VTB Management Board, said:
"Robotization of routine operations is one of the priority areas of VTB's work. It is important that the cash counting robot works around the clock, 365 days a year. Currently, this technology is implemented in one of the cash centers in Moscow, and the decision on scaling up will be made based on the results of this pilot project.”
