Through the partnership, Zip is committed to providing flexible, digital payment options to Magento’s network of merchants.

Magento is a robust commerce platform that blends digital commerce, order management, and predictive intelligence to enable online shopping across a wide array of industries and business models (B2C, B2B and hybrid). Adobe offers an enterprise-level, cloud-hosted application, Magento Commerce, as well as a free ecommerce solution, Magento Open Source and serves the needs of companies of all sizes with flexible, digital commerce solutions to successfully sell across channels.

With more businesses able to offer consumers flexible payment options, BNPL is helping retailers reach new heights. As an Accelerate partner, Zip’s transparent BNPL financing solutions will be marketed directly to thousands of Magento merchants around the world.

Zip - which recently arrived in the UK - is disrupting the broken credit card model with faster, more flexible ways to pay.

Globally, more than 6.4 million people choose to pay with Zip online and in-store. The company partners with merchants across a range of sectors - from homeware and entertainment to fashion, sport, health & beauty, groceries and travel - to allow their customers to buy items and spread the payment over four interest-free instalments. Listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, Zip also has operations across Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and in the US via Quadpay, a Zip company.

“Partners like Adobe are helping supercharge Zip’s popularity among consumers and retailers in the UK and globally. This collaboration means thousands of merchants using the Magento platform can seamlessly offer their customers our better way to pay,” said Belinda Mackey, Senior Partnerships Manager for the UK at Zip.

“While brands are looking for ways to engage customers with new, exceptional experiences, the realities of COVID-19 have catapulted digital commerce technologies to the forefront of the market,” said Jason Woosley, Adobe’s Vice President, Commerce Product and Platform.

“Consumers love instalment payment solutions because they’re fast, fair and interest-free. Zip enables Magento merchants globally to implement these capabilities effortlessly at checkout, improving cash flow, increasing order value, and keeping customers coming back again and again.”
