Google has distinguished itself as an innovative partner in the field of payments in recent years, and its Wallet solution is used widely around the world.

ABN AMRO clients will soon be able to pay quickly and easily for in-person, in-app and online purchases using their Android smartphone within the ABN AMRO app, at no extra charge.

“We see a strong demand among our clients for ways to make payments using Android phones, so we’re delighted to be able to add Google Pay to our range of payment tools,” says Maarten van Rutte, Business Developer Digital Payments at ABN AMRO. “The new, innovative functions Google Pay offers are a good fit for our strategy of building a future-proof bank.”
