As a registered AISP, Digital Identity Net can access the UK Open Banking infrastructure and, with their consent, enable customers to share their account information held within UK banks.

The FCA approval will accelerate the rollout of OneID®, the digital identity solution about to enter trials with leading banks and businesses in the UK. OneID® provides consumers with a simple and secure way to prove who they are online and a frictionless method to open and manage online accounts. OneID® provides businesses with bank-validated digital identity data, to increase conversion, reduce fraud and improve customer data quality.

Martin Wilson, CEO of Digital Identity Net, said: “We are delighted to be registered as an Account Information Service Provider. AISP status is a huge boost to the roll out of OneID®, as we make the service fully available to all businesses and individuals. I am really looking forward to delivering the many economic and social benefits that a truly game-changing and trusted digital identity solution will bring to the UK.”

Martin continued: “This is an important milestone and a great achievement. The formal AISP registration demonstrates the priority we give to our security and data responsibilities. It further strengthens our drive to help businesses and banks seize the opportunities created by Open Banking and enable individuals to control their own digital data.”

OneID® is a unique open banking digital identity solution. It is currently in pilot and will launch later this year.
