Amcore Bank signs for First Data merchant services

AMCORE Bank (Nasdaq: AMFI) and First Data Corp. (NYSE: FDC) today announced a long-term merchant services alliance. According to the agreement, First Data will provide all merchant payment processing and service for new customers on behalf of AMCORE Bank.

First Data will provide AMCORE Bank merchants with customer service, marketing and sales support, equipment servicing and training and payment processing including authorization, settlement, chargeback, reconciliation, credit, debit, gift card, check verification and check guarantee services.
