RSA Federated Identity Manager software now supports the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0 protocol, which greatly expands the potential applications for federation. In addition, architectural enhancements and other new features position RSA Federated Identity Manager software as an ideal long-term solution for business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C) and government-based identity federation initiatives.
