IFA Systems is an independent firm providing bespoke website and website solutions for financial advisers. Using the new Portfolio Adviser Files, the advisers can upload the data as frequently as they require, displaying a simple report for the client to view online with the ability to click through for details on any policy. This will benefit both advisers and their clients. Advisers will be able to update portfolio reports to their clients quickly, easily and securely, and save on postage and stationery, while the client can see their portfolio online whenever they require.

Ann Dempster, managing director of Plum Software, said: "We are continually looking for ways to make life easier for our users and provide them with an up-to-date service. In today's fast-moving world, clients don't want to have to wait to find out how their portfolio is performing. This service, coupled with the 13 provider links we now have in place, means that our system can provide advisers with all the information they need at the click of a button."

The link to Portfolio Adviser Files is available to users of both Plum Software and IFA Systems for an additional fee depending on the number of registered users*. IFA Systems can either supply this service via the website it has created for an adviser, or can supply a link for the adviser's website designer to embed in their existing site. The Portfolio Adviser files can be set up in a matter of hours and can be branded to match the adviser's main website. It takes just 15 minutes to train the adviser on how to upload data, and then each upload takes just a matter of seconds to run.

Diana Baker, managing director of IFA Systems, commented: "Up-to-date websites and website features like these are the way ahead for advisers, as it allows them to service their clients efficiently and effectively. Today's adviser needs to make the most of technology and by partnering with one of the leading back office system providers, we are able to provide advisers with the most up-to-date service possible."

This is just the latest announcement by Plum Software as part of its commitment to reinvest and continually improve its systems and follows the recent news that it rolled out a new version of its software early in 2006.

As one of the leading software houses on the market, Plum Software provides a front and back office solution to advisers and mortgage brokers to manage all their business needs through a single integrated system. It handles everything from managing the sales processes, completing administrative tasks, enabling compliance to analysing business needs. It is suitable for both commission and fee-based advisers.
