Planixs, the leading provider of real-time, intraday cash, collateral and liquidity management solutions, has announced today that it has been selected by the Swiss Stock Exchange part of SIX to enhance its real-time treasury platform through its Realiti® software suite.
SIX is responsible for operating the critical infrastructure that underpins the Swiss financial system and has recently acquired the Spanish stock exchange operator BME. The Swiss Stock Exchange is one of Europe's key regulated exchanges and is the reference market for over 35,000 Swiss securities. The Swiss Stock Exchange is responsible for Listing, Trading and Post-Trade encompassing Clearing, Settlement, Swiss & Global Custody and asset servicing.
After a rigorous selection process, Planixs was selected as the strategic real-time treasury solution supplier to the exchange. Planixs will provide Realiti’s market leading real-time liquidity management capabilities combined with cash management and operations, vostro (client account) liquidity services and real-time matching.
The project will see SIX initially roll out Realiti’s Intraday Liquidity Management, Funding and Forecasting, Intraday Reconciliations and Vostro (Client account) Management modules across the Swiss Stock Exchange to improve cash and liquidity management, increase automation and enhance liquidity optimisation processes - with the option to roll out additional modules in the future to extend capability.
