Concardis launches SmartPay

With Concardis SmartPay, the Eschborn-based full-service provider for digital payment services Concardis is for the first time launching a digital product offering designed specifically to simplify face-to-face payments for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the DACH region, beginning in Germany.

The new all-round solution makes payments easy for merchants and service providers from start to finish: card terminal, card acceptance and digital tools are all part of the package. The Concardis SmartPay platform is a one-stop-shop solution for in-store payments displaying all transactions digitally and clearly for the merchant. This allows merchants to keep an eye on transactions and cardholder activity, and also to receive support from customer service with a single click.

"Tailor-made payment solutions for the needs of small and medium-sized merchants are rare today in the DACH region. We are closing this gap and bringing all payment systems and relevant payment processes together on one smart platform. In doing so, we are taking a decisive step forward in the digitalisation of small and medium-sized businesses: all processes, from onboarding and customer service to the processing and visualisation of payments, have been fully digitalised for the merchants. We are bringing payments to the SME segment in step with the times and making payment easier and more transparent for our merchants than ever before," says Robert Hoffmann, CEO of Concardis.

Complete packages with convincing product features
"The idea behind SmartPay is to offer small and medium-sized merchants and service providers the easiest way to accept cashless payments. The package includes everything they need to accept payments in their store: terminal, card acceptance, simple onboarding and sign-up, and an easy to use digital portal. All combined with one of the most transparent pricing systems on the market, including zero-contract options. And all digitalised for the first time on the market" says Thomas Gregory, Chief Product Officer of Concardis.

The SmartPay portal, which is available as both a desktop and an app version, can be used to view individual reports, track sales in real time, or directly evaluate transactions and payouts. The overview of incoming payments from all channels is fully automated, and also provides valuable insights into customer structure, purchasing behaviour and payment preferences.

Concardis with a new brand identity
The new platform and the new SmartPay offering are now available via www.concardis.com. The new product range will be marketed on the one hand through a broad-based sales offensive with a fresh and modern online campaign including ads and video clips via social media and on the other hand through regional direct sales.

The integration with Nets A/S, a leading payment service provider in Northern Europe, with which Concardis merged at the beginning of the year, will also create new synergies and opportunities to bring innovations to market faster and support customers even better. The proximity to the Danish payment provider is immediately apparent in the new brand design of the Eschborn-based company: Concardis adopts the colours and corporate design of the Nets Group.
